Canoeing Tips for Ardèche

Begin your adventure from our Rivière & Canoës base in Pradons, located 10 km upstream from Vallon Pont d’Arc and the famous Ardèche Gorges. This allows you to escape the summer tourist crowds. We are situated at the village entrance when coming from Ruoms, and thanks to our green canoes and kayaks, our base is easy to spot!

Additionally, take advantage of our private and free parking, exclusively reserved for our customers.

Once you have selected your descent, we provide you with a 55-liter waterproof container for your picnic and personal belongings. Then, we guide you through the route, highlighting various challenges and the finish line with photos to help you visualize all the important details of your Ardèche descent.

Furthermore, we provide flotation aid vests (EN ISO 12402-5 standard), which are disinfected daily and adjusted to your size, along with usage instructions.

Next, our minibus will take you to the departure point of your chosen route (Vogüé, Balazuc, or Pradons), where a canoe-carrying trailer awaits you. We offer canoes for 1, 2, or 3 people (the third seat in the center is for a child under 12 years old).

Upon launching, we give you a detailed explanation of how to operate the canoe and provide valuable tips. Then, you embark on the descent at your own pace, without time constraints.

Upon your arrival in Ruoms, a minibus will be waiting to promptly take you back to our Pradons base.
